In the upcoming mid-semester break the New Zealand University Winter Games will once again take place. While there has always been an Auckland University team entered in the competition this is the first time in a long while UASC has sent its own dedicated race team as part of this contingent. UASC has a proud race history on the slopes of Mt Ruapehu in events such as the Christiana Derby and the Haensli and Ngauruhoe Cup's. A team of 15 hand picked skiers and snowboarders will represent UASC over all the disciplines being contested this year. This group of racers will receive a subsidy towards the costs of the trip to Wanaka with money UASC was able to get from AUSA grants this year. UASC is committed to its members as well as helping the University of Auckland stay  #1 both in the classroom and out. Check out our team of 15 here.

It's that time of year again, BOOKINGS ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN FOR 2010!!!! This season is looking to be good with the lodge in pristine condition (as always) after some good pre-season work parties. We have chosen our new custodian for the year and he goes by the name of Paul Abbott! (he may be a familiar face to some have you). Make sure you give him a few beers and some smiles when you get to the lodge this year.

The lodge will be opening on Friday the 25th of June.
